Chambolle-Musigny 2010

Burgundy
Size: Bottle

A noble and juicy Chambolle from an old Burgundian master .

$525

Tasting Notes

"Medium red. Wild, musky aromas of redcurrant, earth and tobacco; smells like a Montecristo #2. At once dense and juicy, offering noteworthy intensity and a light touch to the sweet fruit and soil flavors. Finishes with broad, ripe tannins and a lingering note of cigar tobacco"Stephen Tanzer 91pts.

DOMAINE DE LA POUSSE D'OR

Domaine de la Pousse d’Or was established in the commune of Volnay in 1964 by a consortium including Louis Seysses (the father of Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac) and Gerard Potel, though it can trace its lineage back to the Dukes of Burgundy in 1100. The domaine consists of 18 hectares of mostly Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in fabulous sites in Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Corton, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay.
