"This is a sort of Champagne of Champagnes. A more classic, typical representative of this type of wine does not exist." – Richard Juhlin's review of Cuvée des Enchanteleurs 1988
Cuvée des Enchanteleurs, Champagne AOC 1500ml 1999
Size: Large Format
This wine is a beautiful limpid, brilliant yellow gold, enhanced by a few green highlights. The nose is bursting with freshness and elegance, expressing ripe and very youthful aromas(brioche, almond, vervain, etc.) The palate reveals notes of ripe white fruit heightened by aromas of tea, and confirms the complexity, freshness and perfect balance promised by the initial impression.
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Created in 1808 by Appoline Henriot, the 200 year old independent and family run house of Henriot is a Champagne connoisseur’s secret. A far cry from the overly manipulated wines of many other “Grandes Marques”, the Henriot style is one of elegance and finesse, with Chardonnay always in the limelight. One of the keys to Henriot’s consistency is the quality of their Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyard supplies in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, which form the core of their aromatic, balanced and long-lived Champagnes.
